柿沼康二、井上有一
For Art021 2020 PLATFORM sector, NUKAGA GALLERY will present works by two contemporary calligraphic artists, Koji Kakinuma (b. 1970) and the legendary Yu-ichi Inoue(1916-1985).
Koji Kakinuma proposes that the traditional calligraphy should have its own contemporary feel. While continuing the traditional methods of calligraphy, the artist uses them as the foundation of his expression from a present-day perspective. He has continually pushed the boundaries of the Japanese art of calligraphy by bringing contemporary vision to traditional ink art. Therefore, his calligraphy works are not only Kanji (Chinese characters), or Hiragana, and Katakana (Japanese characters), but also uses Alphabets. Kakinuma probes the principle of calligraphy to see calligraphy as a contemporary art form through his works. For this exhibition, we will present his well-known ‘Five Elements’ series and small-scale works.
For the third year of exhibiting works by Yu-ichi Inoue, we will feature Inoue’s rare, smaller, in addition to his famous large-scale single-character calligraphy. We hope to take this opportunity to introduce wide range of Yu-ichi’s spectacular works.
2020年021線上展會 NUKAGA GALLERY延續去年以書道作品為展示主軸，帶來當代書法藝術家柿沼康二(b.1970)以及日本傳奇書法家井上有一(1916-1985)的作品。
柿沼康二擅長將傳統的書道融合當代藝術精神，使水墨蘊含的傳統氣韻與當代精神取得完美的平衡，並藉由自身走訪美國以及歐洲的經歷，融合了西方不同藝術創作的元素，加上其對於水墨與紙張渲染效果的拿捏得宜，創作出現代版的書道作品。柿沼的作品中不僅僅有常見的漢字，更加入了英文字母等創新題材，利用現代繪畫的構圖元素，此次展出作品包含了藝術家廣為人知的五大元素系列(地、水、火、風、空) 以及小品作品。
井上有一作品的部分較以往不同的是，除了大尺幅作品以外，多了較少見的小幅一字書，希望藉由此機會讓大家認識他更多不同類型的作品
